At the top of a ridge, this property looks out on to Charlotte Amalie on one side and Magen's Bay on the other. This old chapel is surrounded by lush tropical foliage and flowers. The oil over acrylic painting technique provides an additional depth to the colors. The under-painting in acrylic provides base colors and the oil paint is used to enhance the colors and add more brilliance to the scene.
