Collaborative Process
We will share ideas, discuss, and align on the desired outcome—subject, composition, mood, size, colors, and overall feeling of the piece. Ideally, you’ll provide high-quality photographs of the location or inspiration, which will serve as a valuable reference.
From there, I will develop up to three preparatory sketches that explore different interpretations of your vision. These sketches allow you to see the direction of the painting in advance and provide feedback, ensuring we are fully aligned.
Only after your approval will I begin the final commissioned artwork, giving you confidence that the finished piece will reflect exactly what you have in mind.

Commission Pricing
We will agree on a fair price before the commission begins. Commissioned paintings are generally priced higher than portfolio pieces, reflecting the personalized collaboration and careful attention required to bring your specific vision to life.
Once we have an agreement, I require a 50% deposit payment before beginning the painting. Payment for the balance of the total price is due upon completion of the painting and prior to shipping. Shipping costs, which will have already been determined and agreed upon, will be added to the final payment due.
If the order is cancelled prior to the start of work, the deposit will be returned in full. If the commissioned artwork is cancelled during or after completion of a custom work, the deposit will be non-refundable.
